About Author

Christopher Robin Andrew Simpson, born November 30, 1977, youngest of five children. He was born with Cerebral Palsy, but learned to use his feet in place of hands. He completed high school, and lived at home until he was 28, when he moved to a long term care facility in Dunnville, Ontario.

Andrew had always been close to his grandmother, and when he was living on his own, he got in touch with her. Over the years they have remained close, staying in contact by computer for the most part. For three years, he lived with grandma, and they did a lot of things together. When they went out shopping, he pointed with his toes to direct her by the route he wanted her to follow. One thing he really enjoyed doing was to tip his toy box over, then scatter the toys with his feet. Of course, some went under furniture, and grandma had to get down on he stomach on the floor with a broom to get them out. That was when Andrew would attack. As fast as he could move, he would scramble over, lift up onto his knees, and flop over grandma’s back. Then they would both laugh while she rolled over and got him down on the floor.

After they were able to be in touch again, when he moved out on his own, he decided it would be fun to write a story with grandma, who spent a lot of time writing. They wrote a silly tale called Working With My Grandma. It was posted on Andsim’s Forum, his blog site. If Dreams Came True is their latest attempt at coauthoring, and they both hope people will enjoy it.

They both hope you enjoy the tale, and thank you for reading it
